OK, Dean.. here ya go... (BTW, I liked that tutorial, too -- well done!)
Real easy: either...
1) Select Save Med. Res. Anim (NOT Overlay) from the Save Anim panel.
For the filename, make sure you type the FULL Drive name (not FA0:, but
FlyerA0:) It'll then write the anim to the Flyer HDs in Standard (?)
mode. Note you'll need about 7.25 megs free to do this (as read from the
LW scene's panel).
2) Faster, better method:
Render out and save each frame asn a seperate IFF (you can use
framestores, but you;d have to modify the IFF2CLIP script to read the name
formatting (which I did, if anyone's interested... real easy) After all
the frames are rendered,go into the Switcher and find the Arexx directory.
In the ARexx dir, there's the Editor Dir, and in there is the IFF2CLIP
Macro. Run this and follow the instructions. Note that the clip length
should be an even # (so 1-20 would be OK, but frame #s 1-33 would be bad
-- the FLyer just won't play the last frame).
There's also a version of this script in TPaint, but it takes about 30
seconds/frame. Rending with LW using the rendered frames as BG images
takes 45 seconds to 1 minute per frame, and the Editor IFF2CLIP script
takes about 8-12 seconds/frame.
Also, LW 4.0 will DIRECTLY support Flyer clip loading and saving (right, JG?).
Hope this helps...
